The Glenn Gould Foundation proudly announced the “Glenn Gould and The Future of Music Conference,” a landmark event to take place at The Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa-Gatineau as part of the Year of Glenn Gould celebrations.  The three-day event beginning on September 27, 2007 includes complimentary access to the Canadian Museum of Civilization’s exhibition, “Glenn Gould: Sounds of Genius,” the dynamic interactive exhibition celebrating Glenn Gould’s remarkable life. The innovative multimedia exhibition, curated by Sam Cronk, includes sound documents, video extracts of interviews and performances, original radio programs and over 100 of Gould’s original artefacts.  In addition, two and a half days of symposiums; concerts; and John McGreevy’s dramatic musical presentation, “An Evening with Glenn Gould” starring Ted Dykstra at the National Arts Centre will round out the conference.
