Sony BMG Masterworks is delighted to announce the  exclusive signing of uniquely acclaimed violinist Lisa Batiashvili. The Georgian born  Batiashvili has made a significant impact on the international concert  circuit, and will now develop a recording career to match her extraordinary  achievements on the concert platform. Her first Sony Classical release is a  recording of the Sibelius and Lindberg Violin Concertos with the Finnish Radio  Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sakari Oramo. Future projects include the  Beethoven Violin Concerto and a new work by Giya Kancheli.
